The VI Caribbean Cultural Center (VICCC) is nestled within the University of the Virgin Islands, holding rare collections, oral histories, and archives that keep Virgin Islands and Caribbean heritage alive for students, scholars, and the community — today and for generations to come.

The Virgin Islands Caribbean Cultural Center (VICCC) creates, collaborates, and institutes student-centered workshops, degree and certificate programs, visiting-scholars programs, faculty and corporate professional development, conferences, academic exchanges, internships, and community-engagement partnerships.

  • Develops interdisciplinary resources for cultural research, sustainable restoration, and eco-heritage tourism.
  • Provides a holistic research environment with rare collections, archives, digital media, and exhibitions spanning art, history, ecology, and technology.
  • Supports the only Historically Black College and University (HBCU) and Land Grant Institution in the Caribbean.
